Summer vacation in the Netherlands? Apparently yes! Many people from all around the world, especially people from Northern Europe have found this little gem in a small city in western Holland called Noordwijk. This little gem is called “The Flying Pig Beach Hostel”.
The Flying Pig Beach Hostel or “The Pig”, as the local people like to call it, is a small hostel in the town of Noordwijk just a few steps away from the beach. It was built in 1999 and since then, has offered unforgettable memories to its customers. With exceptional service, a friendly environment, cozy areas and the best of all, a plethora of drinks you can choose from at the bar. The bar, which is called “The Pig Bar and Café”, offers a big variety of Beers, Cocktails, Rum, Whiskeys you name it!
During the sunny days, our back deck is full of people. They come to enjoy our occasional Barbeques while others are showing off their skills on our Pool Table. We are hosting free pool every Thursday. And do not forget about the Live Music Nights we organise during the summer with local artists and bands performing in our bar, escalating the vibe and making the night a fun experience.
Every day, is a new day! With new activities for each day of the week in “The Pig”, such as Beer Pong, Games Night and Free Pool, having a good time here is almost guaranteed! People of all nationalities and backgrounds are hanging around together, playing boarding games and for the brave ones, getting shots with “Walk The Plank”.
Our big selection of beers, from big international breweries such as La Chouffe, Heineken, Amstel or Desperados, are going to meet your expectations. For the ones who want to taste something different, you can try local beers from “Two Chefs brewery” or The Noordwijk Blonde from BaakBier. The unique flavours, the variety of brands and the different types of beers we have are going to please even the pickiest people out there. And to spice things up a little bit, every other month, we change the tap beer to a new one so you can try our new special beer!
If you are a Gin or a rum person, we`ve got you covered. We have the full range of Tanqueray gins, Sevilla, Rangpur, Blackcurrant and of course the classic London Dry are ready to be served with your favourite mixer. Feeling more like a pirate? Bacardi, Captain Morgan or Las Colmenas (honey rum) are here for you
For the sophisticated people who like to chill with a drink and have a deep conversation, whisky might be your thing. Our refined selection of Whiskeys such as Jack Daniels, Jameson, Johnny Walker and a Glenlivet are here for you. And if you want to try out something more special, Dalwhinnie, a 15 year aged malty whisky which combines a sweet aromatic flavour with gentle smoky aftertaste is ready to give you the best possible whisky experience.

Are you a Vodka person? “Pig On The beach” is for you. You prefer dark rum? Try out our “Dark `n` Porky” with Captain Morgan Rum, Ginger beer and fresh lime! And if you haven´t found yet one that you like, you can always request to the barman to mix something just for you!
