Scheveningen Beach:
The main attraction with its sandy shore, popular among both locals and tourists. The beach is divided into four parts:
- Noordzijde Haven close to the harbor
- Boulevard near the pier and Kurhaus hotel
- Zwarte Pad Home to all the beach clubs
- Nude Beach
Surfing Spot:
A popular place for surfers and great for taking pictures. If you’re new to surfing, there are also many surf schools where you can take lessons.
The Pier:
One of the most renowned attractions, featuring a Ferris wheel, a zip line, hotel suites, and a relaxed beach atmosphere.
Hiking:
If you’re into hiking, Scheveningen is also the perfect place to visit. There are two main parks you can explore:
- Westduinpark: A lovely coastal park with dune landscapes.
- Oostduinpark: Another beautiful park perfect for a refreshing walk.

- De Fred: A shopping street with a mix of boutiques, specialty stores, and cozy cafés.
- Oud Scheveningen: Just a five-minute walk from the Pier, this neighborhood features charming old fishermen’s houses, narrow cobbled streets, and blooming flowers. Don’t miss the Fisherman’s Wife of Scheveningen statue on Keizerstraat.
- Forest of Scheveningen: A peaceful green escape within the city.
- Westbroekpark: A lush park perfect for a relaxing stroll.
