Maastricht
Maastricht’s magical Christmas market is open from December 1, 2024 through January 1, 2025 and will take place in the center of Maastricht around the Vrijthof. You can find a ferris wheel, ice rink, red roofed Christmas chalets with handcrafts, oliebollen and of course, mulled wine. This cozy and atmospheric city, along with its great variety of shops, offers you a great start for your gift hunt for Christmas!
The Hague
The Royal Christmas fair in The Hague will take place from Dec. 5 through Dec. 23, 2024 on the Lange Voorhout. The most iconic Christmas market in the Netherlands, decorated with lights and fires. The atmosphere is liven up with choirs, storytellers and Santa Claus himself!
Leiden
The Nostalgic Christmas Market Leiden 2024 will take place from Dec. 13 through Dec. 17, 2024. This year is going to be even greater, with more than 100 stalls, light parades, and live music. Located in the historic center of Leiden on the beautiful Hooglandse Kerkgracht. Full of nostalgia, history and romantic atmosphere.
Dordrecht
The Dordt December Days 2024 in Dordrecht takes place from Dec. 13 through Dec. 31, 2024. The Downtown Dordrecht will be cozily adorned. Historic locations such as the City Hall Square and the Grotekerk Garden will be transformed into winter wonderlands. Dordrecht’s Christmas market is known as the biggest one in The Netherlands, but this year it stays a bit more intimate and modest, unlike the previous years’ market. But no need to worry! You will still find numerous activities and smaller markets here and there. Utrecht
Utrecht is a magical town to visit during the Christmas season. It has multiple events and markets throughout the season.
